The drug Poppers is a clear liquid drug commonly known as Amyl Nitrite which is inhaled to give a short but intense high.  This high usually last up to 5 minutes, and usually gives the user a nasty headache after.

Sniffing the drug predominantly causes the blood vessels to expand and the blood to rush to the brain.

Amyl Nitrite is not illegal as it is available on prescription.  If Poppers are swallowed they can be fatal.
